October 7 was the opening day of the special exhibition, "Printed Treasures: Highlights from the Museum of Fine Arts,BOSTON" at the Edo-Tokyo Museum.
You can see how Ukiyo-e started and developed in Edo era, which lasted for 260 years from 1603.
